Mitch has over 25 years of wide-ranging experience in the legal services sector, from BigLaw partner and General Counsel to strategy and transformation advisor for in-house legal departments and law firms. He is a Fellow of the prestigious College of Law Practice Management, a Fastcase 50 Global Legal Innovator, and the Gowling WLG Visiting Professor in Legal Innovation at the University of Calgary Law School. He has written many thought leadership pieces on legal service transformation and has authored the critically-acclaimed books The Great Legal Reformation: Notes from the Field and Avoiding Extinction: Reimagining Legal Services for the 21st Century. With an ICD.D designation in corporate governance, Mitch has also served on boards of directors for both innovative legal services start-ups and major real estate companies.
